Infinity Pros & Cons

InfinityBook Pro 14 Gen8 Pros:

Display: Covers 99% of sRGB, 74.7% of AdobeRGB, and 81.1% of DCI-P3, with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits of brightness.
Keyboard: Chiclet style with black keys, backlit, and customizable Tux Super Key. The keys are reactive, have reasonably deep travel, and are stable.
Touchpad: Super smooth, covered in glass, and precise with gestures. It clicks well and is one of the best touchpads on a Linux laptop.
Speakers: Decent, bottom-firing speakers that don't distort at high volumes and get loud enough for YouTube videos or movies.
Webcam and Microphone: While not the best, the webcam goes up to 1080p30 and the microphone is clear after adjusting the gain. It's not bad for a laptop mic.

InfinityBook Pro 14 Gen8 Cons:

Fractional Scaling: The 14-inch resolution requires fractional scaling, which might not be ideal for all users, especially those with different desktop environments.
Battery Performance: The laptop can be slow when charged via USB-C, especially with a weak charger. Full performance is achieved with the included barrel charger.
Keyboard Layout: Some users find the Tux Super Key design cartoony and prefer a simpler symbol. The arrow keys layout with stacked up and down keys is also a minor complaint.
Durability: The laptop is not very durable; a minor impact can cause damage, as experienced by one user who dropped it in their backpack.

Infinitynook.com allows returns within 30 days of receipt. Products must be in new, unused, and unopened condition. A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns. Custom products cannot be returned. To initiate a return, contact Infinitynook sales for a Return Authorization Number (RMA). Package the product safely with the original packaging, display the RMA on the outside, and include a copy of the original packing slip or invoice. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds to credit cards can take 3 to 4 weeks to process. If an order is canceled before shipping, no cancellation or restocking fee applies.
